In 1999, the Tata Power Co. Ltd., India’s largest integrated power company, forayed into Low Tension (LT) distribution and in turn entrusted Yashmun Engineers Ltd. with the maintenance and servicing of this LT sub-station. We, at Yashmun, set up a division that year with a staffing of 2 technicians to maintain the servicing of retail customers for the Tata Power Company's sub-station at Asmita Jyoti Co-Op Society.
Today our Power Distribution Service department employs a staff of 6 engineers and 36 electricians and successfully service and maintain 175 plus sub-stations and 21000 plus retail customers (Residential / Commercial / Industrial).
Our services are professional and around the clock. Our personnel have undergone training from TPC professionals, in LT S/S maintenance, customer complaint redressal, meter reading bill preparation and working out detailed metering corrections. We carry out all our jobs under the direct supervision of Tata Power Company engineers.
